Cell11 stands for the basement room in which we founded our band, the origin of our common work.
At first we played rock classics and had a lot of fun doing so. However, with the first own song something changed. We noticed how well we complemented each other in realizing our own ideas. It was clear to us that we would go in a different direction from now on.
„What kind of music is this that you’re playing?“
Admittedly, it’s not an easy question to answer. Let’s try it like this: Our songs are influenced by the minimalism of the blues, the melodies of folk, the energy of rock and the catchiness of pop music.

Markus Kleinschmidt – guitar & vocals
Dieter Heynen – bass
Harald Braun – drums
Before Harald came to us, our man from Hamburg, Hajo Kiener, occasionally helped out on the drums. His art is perpetuated on the recording of Digital Lovebirds.
